Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Clean and sanitize offices, classrooms, restrooms, common areas, and other assigned spaces.
Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, and empty trash and recycling.
Clean and maintain floors, windows, furniture, and other surfaces.
Replenish restroom and cleaning supplies as needed.
Follow proper safety and sanitation procedures.
Report maintenance issues, safety concerns, or damaged equipment to the appropriate supervisor.
Operate basic cleaning equipment and use cleaning products safely.
Assist with moving or arranging furniture and supplies as needed.
Perform other custodial duties as assigned.
Qualifications and Requirements

Reliable, punctual, and responsible.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Good attention to detail.
Previous custodial or cleaning experience is preferred but not required.
Must be able to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and reach for extended periods.
Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
Must be willing to follow all workplace safety procedures.
Physical Requirements

This position requires regular physical activity, including standing, walking, bending, reaching, lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling. The employee must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.

Work Environment

The Custodian may work indoors and outdoors and may be exposed to cleaning products, dust, noise, and varying temperatures. Appropriate safety equipment and training will be provided as needed.
