Job description
Currently seeking a candidate with minimum of 2 years relevant experience in a machine shop environment. Basic mechanical assembly skills desired.

Responsibilities:
Perform duties related to all manufacturing phases of custom machines projects including part fabrication (CNC & Manual mills), machine assembly, testing and debug, and occasional installation assistance at customer facilities
Interact with Engineering staff on design and part fabrication
Assist with general shop maintenance
Ability to read and interpret Engineering drawings for dimensions & tolerances
Ability to operate a CNC mill – basic programming and setup desired. Fusion 360 CAM package programming is a plus
Must have general understanding of inspection tools (Vernier calipers, micrometers, pin gages, etc)
General understanding of basic material properties for part fabrication is expected
Ability to skillfully use common hand tools.
Ability to work under, on, and in tight spaces around machine structures to perform assembly and debug tasks

Job Types: Full-time, Temp-to-hire

Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour

Schedule:
8-hour shift
Day shift
Monday to Friday
