About the Role:
Stafkings is seeking detail-oriented and dependable accounting professionals for opportunities with a respected organization. This position supports a busy accounting services department responsible for handling financial operations.
Openings are available at both the Assistant and Associate level, depending on experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Process daily deposits, including cash, checks, and electronic payments
Perform data entry for vouchers, journal entries, and financial transactions
Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable functions
Prepare and process checks, including distribution and reconciliation
Maintain vendor and account records, including supporting documentation
Assist with bank transactions, transfers, and credit card reconciliations
Support billing activities, loan processing, and account maintenance
Review financial documentation for accuracy and compliance
Provide general administrative support, including filing and document management
Respond to internal inquiries via phone and email
Collaborate with team members and provide backup support as needed
Qualifications:
Associate’s degree required (Business, Accounting, or related field preferred)
Assistant level: 1–3 years of relevant experience
Associate level: 3–5 years of relevant experience preferred
Experience with cash handling and customer service
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
Experience with accounting software (such as Financial Edge) is a plus

Assistant: up to $23.00/hour
Associate: up to $28.00/hour
