This position offers full-time weekday hours (Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM) and the opportunity to work in a dynamic healthcare environment supporting MR and CT departments.
Responsibilities
Assist technologists with workflow and direct patient care in Radiology
Administer IV contrast and monitor for drug/contrast reactions
Perform pre- and post-procedure patient assessments
Anticipate and respond to changes in patient condition, including emergencies
Support Radiologists during emergency procedures
Maintain aseptic and isolation techniques as required
Access and de-access central lines
Document patient care using EPIC, Radiant, and PACS systems
Ensure work area is clean, stocked, and in compliance with hospital policies
Qualifications
Current New York State RN license (required)
Current CPR certification (required)
Strong IV skills and experience with patient monitoring
Familiarity with Radiology procedures and protocols preferred
Ability to organize and prioritize patient care effectively
Previous experience with EPIC, Radiant, or PACS systems is a plus
Compensation & Details
Hourly Pay: $35 – $45/hr (based on experience)
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
Duration: Approx. 16 weeks (temporary medical leave coverage)
