Responsibilities
Assemble electronic devices and systems according to detailed schematics, blueprints, and work instructions.
Perform soldering using surface mount technology (SMT) and through-hole techniques, ensuring compliance with IPC 610 standards.
Interpret PCB (Printed Circuit Board) layouts and schematics to accurately place components.
Use hand tools, power tools, calipers, and machining equipment to prepare parts and perform assembly tasks.
Conduct electrical testing using ohmmeters and other measurement tools to verify circuit integrity.
Wire electrical components and troubleshoot electrical issues during assembly processes.
Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety protocols and quality standards.
Collaborate with engineering teams to understand product specifications and improve assembly procedures.
Experience
Proven experience in electronics manufacturing or assembly, with a strong understanding of PCB design and fabrication processes.
Familiarity with programmable logic controllers (PLCs), surface mount technology (SMT), and IPC 610 standards.
Hands-on experience with soldering techniques, electrical wiring, and reading schematics.
Mechanical knowledge related to machining, use of hand tools, power tools, calipers, and ohmmeters.
Knowledge of electrical components such as resistors, capacitors, connectors, and switches.
Ability to interpret technical drawings and schematics accurately.
Prior exposure to manufacturing environments emphasizing quality control and process improvement. Candidates with electrical experience or background in mechanical assembly are encouraged to apply.
