Stafkings Personnel Systems is seeking a Help Desk - Livel 1 (Tie 1) candidate for a longstanding technology company in the Binghamton area. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys troubleshooting, customer interaction, and working with software products. After completing training, a remote/hybrid option is available.
· Role Focus: Level 1 specialists typically handle basic, routine issues that can often be resolved quickly. Their work primarily involves providing initial customer or end-user support.
· Responsibilities:
o Answering phone calls, emails, or chat inquiries.
o Troubleshooting basic technical issues, such as password resets, software installation, or connectivity problems.
o Providing guidance on using software or hardware.
o Escalating more complex issues to Level 2 or higher support teams if they cannot be resolved at this level.
o Documenting incidents and solutions in a ticketing system.
· Experience/Skills Required:
o Generally requires less experience, possibly 0-2 years in a similar role.
o Basic technical knowledge, strong communication skills, and customer service orientation.
o Familiarity with common software and hardware used by the organization.

Schedule & Compensation
Pay: $17–$22/hour, depending on experience
